I had the pleasure of working with BizzSolutions and their founder, Ed Bizzell over a time span of almost two years. Ed has a way of taking complex business scenarios and making them readily understandable across all functions and the Executive level savvy to get things done on a large scale. This was extremely important within our highly matrixed and geographically diverse organization. Over the course of several years I have had the opportunity to have the talent of Ed Bizzell supporting a number of businesses with which I have been involved. Ed was instrumental in expanding the licenses and authority of a number of our insurance entities in record time, working diligently with Departments of Insurance and other regulators as well as accounting, legal, tax and capital management teams to enable our businesses to successfully expand engagement in several new lines of business and geographies.

 

In addition, Ed successfully undertook the daunting task of leading our 75 member project team to establish the first US Bank sponsored Lloyd’s of London syndicate in history, navigating 2 very large organizations to meet all requirements necessary to gain approval, capitalize and commence operations. Ed also served as Chief Operations Officer of one of our International Divisions and enabled business to grow threefold in 5 years.
